Big striped bass up to 50 pounds are present in Monmouth County waters feeding on bunker. Boaters can catch a striped bass of a lifetime. Fluke fishing has improved in the past week with increasing water temperatures. Raritan Bay is the best place to score keeper fluke. Bluefish are spread throughout Raritan Bay.

The stonefish is so venomous staff at Deep Sea World in North Queensferry have had to have specialist first aid training.
